Mushroom multivitamins: how to compare combined formulas

Compare mushroom multivitamins by species, extract weight and daily nutrients. Hoola gives you focus, energy and healthy stress-response support.

We built Hoola for those wanting daily nutrients with support for focus, energy and a healthy stress response in one scoop. Compare mushroom multivitamins by their named species, nutrient list and individual extract amounts, not the biggest blend number. We built our formula around calm clarity and energised performance, with 27 active ingredients in a daily 10 g scoop. For the full checklist, read our guide to the best multivitamin in Australia.

TL;DR

Hoola brings mushroom, herbal and nutrient support into one morning routine.

  • Support for sustained focus, with enXtra Alpinia galanga.
  • Support for memory, recall and retention, with BacoMind Bacopa.
  • Support for natural energy production and energy levels, with cordyceps and Korean ginseng.
  • Support for a healthy stress response, with KSM-66 ashwagandha.
  • Support for normal energy metabolism, with B-group vitamins alongside the mushrooms.

What should you compare in a mushroom multivitamin?

Compare the daily nutrients, named mushroom species and individual amounts before you compare the blend total. With Hoola, you can check each active ingredient and its quantity, including the two mushroom extracts, against our ARTG listing captured on 8 October 2026. Start with the formula details, then decide whether the daily routine suits you.

What to compare What you get with Hoola What to check on another formula
Daily nutrients Vitamins and minerals alongside mushroom and herbal extracts Read the vitamin and mineral list separately from the mushroom list.
Mushroom species Reishi, listed as Ganoderma lucidum, and Cordyceps sinensis Match the full species name, not just the word “mushroom”.
Mushroom material Fruiting body extracts for both species Look for the part used and whether the amount describes powder or extract.
Amount disclosure Individual extract weights and dry equivalents Keep each species' amount separate from any combined blend total.
Daily format One 10 g scoop mixed with 350-400 ml cold water Compare the stated daily serving and preparation.
Caffeine 100 mg per daily scoop Include caffeine in your formula comparison.

We built Hoola for a morning routine that includes caffeine: each 10 g scoop contains 100 mg. Our ingredients and benefits give you the full formula to compare.

What do reishi and cordyceps add to daily nutrients?

Everyday stress support and natural energy support are the reasons we include reishi and cordyceps in Hoola. You get those alongside vitamins and minerals in the same scoop, with each ingredient's role kept clear.

For support through everyday stress, we use reishi. It supports the body's natural response to everyday stress, healthy sleep patterns and relaxation without sedation. Our reishi is Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body extract.

For natural energy production, we include cordyceps. We also include Korean ginseng to support natural energy levels. Our mushroom ingredient is Cordyceps sinensis fruiting body extract, so you can compare the exact species when reading another formula's label.

Daily nutrient support has its own role. Our B-group vitamins support normal energy metabolism and the conversion of food into usable energy. Read the B-group vitamin breakdown if that is your main reason for choosing a daily formula.

When comparing, check both parts of the ingredient list. A mushroom name alone doesn't tell you which vitamins and minerals a formula contains. In Hoola, we list the nutrients separately from the mushrooms.

How do extract weight and dry equivalent differ?

Extract weight and dry equivalent describe different quantities, so keep them in separate columns when comparing Hoola with another formula. Our ARTG record lists an extract amount followed by an “Equivalent” amount of dry material for each of the six ingredients below.

These are the amounts per daily 10 g scoop, using the ARTG Public Summary captured on 8 October 2026.

Ingredient in our formula Part and form Extract weight per scoop Dry equivalent per scoop
Reishi, Ganoderma lucidum Fruiting body dry extract concentrate 200 mg 4,000 mg
Cordyceps sinensis Fruiting body dry extract concentrate 750 mg 3,000 mg
Korean ginseng, Panax ginseng Root dry extract concentrate 300 mg 3,000 mg
enXtra, Alpinia galanga Rhizome dry extract concentrate 300 mg 3,000 mg
BacoMind, Bacopa monnieri Whole plant standardised dry extract concentrate 300 mg 6,000 mg
KSM-66 ashwagandha, Withania somnifera Root dry extract concentrate 600 mg 7,500 mg

Take reishi: our scoop contains 200 mg of extract, recorded as equivalent to 4,000 mg of dry reishi. Those figures describe the same ingredient in two ways. They are not two amounts to add together.

Use the same reading method for another formula. Find the species, the part used and the extract weight. Then look for a stated equivalent. If you only have a combined blend total, you still need the individual amounts to make a species-by-species comparison.

For Hoola, the benefit is being able to see both figures before you buy. Our ARTG 508472 listing explained provides more detail on the public record. We use quantities to explain what's inside, not to rank how a formula will feel.

Where do focus and memory support come from?

Focus and memory support in Hoola come from named ingredients beyond the mushrooms. For mental alertness, attention and sustained focus, we include enXtra. For memory, recall and retention, we include BacoMind.

When you're comparing a combined formula, match each benefit to the ingredient behind it. Our focus ingredient enXtra is Alpinia galanga, while BacoMind is Bacopa monnieri. The extract and dry-equivalent amounts for both sit alongside our mushroom quantities, so you can assess the whole formula without treating every ingredient as a mushroom.

Why choose Hoola for your daily scoop?

Choose Hoola if you want daily nutrients alongside support for energy, focus and a healthy stress response in one morning drink. We bring those roles together in one daily formula, with individual quantities you can check.

Frequently asked questions

Are mushroom supplements worth it?

For a combined daily formula, we'd judge value by the support you want and the ingredients you can verify. Hoola gives you daily nutrients with energy, focus and healthy stress-response support in one scoop. Use the full ingredient list to make that decision, rather than the mushroom count alone.

Does Hoola contain lion's mane?

No. Our mushroom ingredients are reishi and Cordyceps sinensis; lion's mane isn't in our formula. We include enXtra for sustained focus support and BacoMind for memory support.

Is a multi-mushroom blend the same as a multivitamin?

Read the nutrient list before treating the two as the same thing. The word “multi” alone doesn't identify the vitamins and minerals in a formula. With Hoola, you get separately listed vitamins and minerals alongside reishi and cordyceps.

How do I take Hoola?

Mix one 10 g scoop into 350-400 ml cold water each morning. That's our daily serving, with the mushrooms, herbs and nutrients already combined.

How much does Hoola cost per day?

Our subscription is A$3.30 a day at A$99 per month. A one-off 30-day supply costs A$125, about A$4.17 a day. The 15-day pouch costs A$65, about A$4.33 a day.

Where does the vitamin B12 in Hoola come from?

Our vitamin B12 is listed separately as mecobalamin, at 50 micrograms per daily 10 g scoop. It's a named nutrient ingredient, rather than an amount inferred from the mushroom extracts. Our B vitamins support the nervous system, with B12 also supporting healthy red blood cell formation.

Is Hoola vegan?

Yes, our formula is vegan. We use Vitashine vegan vitamin D3 and cultivated cordyceps extract as part of our daily blend.
